ABOUT ANNA

Hello, I’m Anna

A Creative Guide, Poet and Speaker sharing art, essays, 1:1 mentorships, online group offerings and in-person experiences to activate your creative potential.

My work evolved from a 10+ year journey to reconnect to the inherently mysterious, spiritual nature of the creative process, following signs & synchronicities towards the difference I can make.

My methods combine the neuroscience of creativity and over 10 + years in the creative industries along with ritual, meditation, nature connection, and a wide range of techniques to invoke inspiration and flow states — moving you through restriction and self censorship, into open-hearted, unbridled expression.

In a time where creative courage is needed more than ever — my body of work exists to help you overcome your greatest fears, connect to your creative impulse, and be seen as you truly are in the name of positive change.

My Story

My journey to liberate creative freedom with myself and others began in chaos, constriction, and an extreme creative block that almost destroyed me.

I was a gifted writer in my school years, writing with fury and passion throughout my exams, placing within top 5 in the country at GCSE English, full marks at AS Level, and securing a place to study English at the University of Cambridge.

But these conventional accolades did nothing to protect my creative spirit from the harsh obliteration that is emergence into adulthood within capitalism. A culture that trains us to sacrifice our dreams, talk down our innate creative potential, obsess over our insufficiencies, and remain within the comfort zone of a conventionally-approved career path while our true desires haunt us in recurring dreams.

Realising that the path to self actualisation was going to require me to reclaim my creative process — for myself, not for approval, status, safety, or someone else’s vision — I committed to writing songs, crafting poems and performing at open mics. Gradually building my tolerance for imperfect authentic expression, weaving in practices from my explorations in spiritual connection and self development.

After 7 years as a freelance copywriter in creative agencies, start ups, charities and small businesses working closely with many founders and creatives while also exploring meditation, energy work, ritual and nature connection, I discovered a capacity to hold ceremonial spaces that helped my clients overcome internal resistance to their potential. Our work together unblocked the required courage to create the business or lifestyle they truly desired.

I began to practice the path of surrender in my own business — using meditation and ritual to consult my own consciousness, listening for the whispers of intuition and creating in alignment with the higher parts of our being accessible through spiritual practice.

This led to an acceleration, and amplification of my creative channel. In October 2025, I channeled a journalistic poem about Gaza in the wake of Israel’s interception of the Sumud activist flotilla. Written in 10 minutes on a bus to Turnpike Lane in North London, filmed in one take walking down Oxford Circus — this work was seen over 350k times, and published in the Jawbone Collective Poetry Journal.

In November 2025, I was invited to host a workshop on creative visualisation and embodiment at a biodiversity conference chaired by RENEW — a partnership between the National Trust and University of Exeter. In February 2026, I hosted my first retreat at a sacred waterfall site in Cornwall, creating a safe, energetic space for women to unveil their authenticity in their own poetry, and commit with a new sense of excitement to their own expansion.

All of these creative acts became possible through the act of authentic, creative imperfection. When you create consistently and pour your energy into work that excites you, life responds. The world opens up in symbolic dialogue and conversation, conspiring to give you opportunities to flourish, collaborate, expand your lines of enquiry, and serve up your projects in service to humanity.

But to experience this, you must create.

You must have faith in the process.

And you must allow your true, imperfect, raw, real self to finally be seen.
